Brief Profile: I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at the School of Technology, Pandit Deen Dayal Energy University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Prior to this role, I held the position of Assistant Professor (Senior Grade I) at the Vellore Institute of Information Technology (VIT) in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Additionally, I am actively collaborating on the overseas FlyServ project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and CARNATIONS in the United States.
My academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, India, in January 2023. I earned my B.Tech. degree in ECE from RGPV, Bhopal, India, graduating with honors in 2011. Subsequently, I obtained an M.Tech. degree in Digital Communication from ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, in 2014.
As a proud member of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), I am actively engaged in research. My interests span various areas, including indoor visible light communication (VLC), indoor positioning using LiFi, LiFi-enabled indoor flying networks (IFNs), and optical intelligent reflecting surface-aided indoor VLC systems.

Before this, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Charotar University of Science and Technology, Gujarat, India. As a MHRD Government of India doctoral scholar, he conducted research in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at PDPM Indian Institute of Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur, MP, India, from July 2018 to June 2023. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Pandit Deendayal Energy University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. During his Ph.D., he authored/co-authored three high-quality journals, four reputed IEEE conference proceedings, and one book chapter. He is a quality-focused researcher consistently publishing in top-tier international journals. In the early stages of his research career during his master’s degree, he proposed an alternate methodology to enhance system throughput of cognitive radio networks. His doctoral research aimed to minimize computation complexity in wireless communication by efficiently integrating Deep Learning technology and designing an energy-efficient precoder for the implementation of a MIMO-CRN system, aligning with the goals of beyond 5G communication. Panda has been serving as an Assistant Professor at PDEU since September 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, with research interests focusing on the inverse design of nanostructures using machine learning and evolutionary computing, nanoscale device fabrication, and optical characterization. Dr. Soumyashree holds an M.Tech from VSS University of Technology, Burla, and a B.Tech from the National Institute of Science and Technology, Brahmapur, Odisha, India. He is a member of the IEEE Photonics Society and the Optical Society of America. He has published numerous papers in leading journals in optics and photonics, and his work has been presented at major conferences in the field. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the prestigious Incubic Milton-Chang Travel Grant at the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) in San Jose in 2020. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for several journals, including Scientific Reports (Nature), Optical Engineering (SPIE), and IEEE Access.

Dr. Pandit did his Ph.D. in the area of RF and Microwaves from IIT Kanpur. He has published his research works in various international journals and conferences. Before Joining the doctoral program at IIT Kanpur, he worked at J.U.E.T. Guna, M.P., and other reputed institutes affiliated to R.G. P. V. Bhopal. in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. He did his M.Tech. from DA-IICT Gandhinagar, in Information and Communication Technology and B.E. from R.G.P.V. Bhopal. He is an active member of IEEE, IEEE-APS and IEEE-MTT.

Brief Profile: Dr. Kirti Kant Sharma is serving as an Ad-hoc Faculty in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at the School of Technology, Pandit Deen Dayal Energy University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in the area of physical layer security in wireless communication from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, in January 2023. He obtained his M.Tech. degree in Digital Communication from ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, in 2014. He pursued B.Tech. in ECE from RKGIT, Ghaziabad affiliated with Dr. APJ AKTU, Lucknow, India. His research interests are cooperative wireless communication, RF-energy harvesting and physical layer security.

She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Robust Multi-resolution change detection for remote sensing images at Gujarat Technological University, Chandkheda. She holds an M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and a B.E. in Information Technology from SGBAU, India. Rashmi has published her research in international journals and various conferences. Prior to joining the doctoral program at GTU, she worked at MMCOE, Pune.
