D degree in year 2010 in applied Mathematics and since then she is associated with mathematics department of the school of technology at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. She also holds master degree in business administration (MBA) with specialization in operations management.
Her core research area is study and analysis of real world problems mathematically. This includes formulation, analysis and optimization of the problem using different optimization techniques. She has 30 publications on her name in various peer reviewed journals. She has also contributed 8 chapters in edited books and presented 6 papers at India and abroad. She has also delivered lectures at national and international forums.
Presently, 1 student has awarded Ph.D under her guidance whereas 2 more are in the process. Currently, she is also working with SAC - ISRO under "integrated studies of Himalayan Cryosphere" for a collaborative project for ship route optimization in sea ice areas.

Fixed Point Iteration Methods. Brief Profile: Dr. Manoj Sahni is working in the Department of Mathematics at PDEU (Formerly PDPU) for more than ten years. He has done M.Sc. from Dayalbagh Educational Institute Agra (Deemed University), M.Phil. Mathematics from IIT Roorkee and Ph.D. Mathematics from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida.
He has more than 19 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 100 research papers in International peer-reviewed Journals, Conferences, and Book Chapters. He is the president of the Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics in the Gujarat Chapter and Joint Secretary at all Indian Levels.
He is a Life Member of various National and International Societies such as the American Mathematical Society, IEEE, SIAM, MAA, Indian Science Congress, SFA, INSIS, ams, FIM, IAENG, etc. He has guided three Ph.D. students and three are working under him. He is working on a project sponsored by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST).

Areas of Interest: Oceanography, Numerical ocean modelling, data assimilation, Empirical Orthogonal Functions (EOF) Analysis, sea-ice dynamics, polar studies. Brief Profile: Dr. Bhasha Vachharajani is working as an assistant professor at PDPU, since June 2013. She has completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in May 2013. She has pursued M.Sc. and M.Phil. from the same university. Prior to joining PDPU, she worked as a J.R.F. for 5 years at Space Applications Centre, ISRO. Her research there was related to analyses of ocean model outputs, and investigations of thermocline variability using the model. She has ten years of research experience and has published eight research papers in peer reviewed journals, and has written two book chapters. Besides these papers, she has contributed in preparing two scientific reports and has presented her work in three national and six international conferences. She has worked on a collaborative research project SCATSAT-I, with SAC, ISRO and is currently involved in two other projects- SAMUDRA and OCEANSAT-3. She has been guiding two students for Ph.D.

Sc. from IIT Madras. He has published some quality research papers in algebraic coding theory.

Brief Profile: Dr. Ankush Raje is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Technology, PDEU Gandhinagar since January 2019. Ankush completed his PhD in July 2019 from the Department of Mathematics, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology(VNIT), Nagpur. He completed the master's degree in Mathematics in 2014 from VNIT Nagpur. Ankush is working in the research areas of fluid dynamics, non-Newtonian fluid and heat transfer. During his tenure of doctoral degree, he worked as JRF and SRF in a research project funded by NBHM, DAE, Govt. of India. Ankush has published 13 research papers in various International journals and has presented his work in 3 national/international conferences. He is supervisor of one PhD student at PDEU.
He is collaborating with various national and international researchers working in the areas of CFD, heat transfer, engineering and applied mathematics. Dr. Ankush is keen in collaborating with the various regimes of engineering and science where the role of applied mathematics is relevant.

Areas of Interest: Solution of Einstein’s field equations, application of mathematics in various real-world problems, including environmental science, data science and machine learning Brief Profile: Dr. Dishant Pandya is working as an Assistant Professor at Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar since 2014. He possessed a strong academic background by securing multiple gold medals in graduation and post-graduation. He has 17 years of experience, consisting of 14 years of academic and 3 years in the diamond industry as a Sr. Scientist. 3 book chapters and 17 publications in various internationally reputed journals and conference proceedings reflect his indulgence in research. A plethora of international/national conferences, workshops/symposia are witnesses to his research presentations. Currently, 4 research scholars are working under his guidance as a part of a collaboration with the department of chemical engineering & the department of physics. Apart from this, he is also mentoring other university students for their graduation and post-graduation projects. Besides, he is also training students not only in document preparation systems such as LaTeX and Markdown, but also in various computational software, including Mathematica and MATLAB.

She did her PhD from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2020, where her research area was Graph Theory (Theoretical Computer Science). Before that, she finished her master's degree M.Sc. Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) from BHU. She completed her B.Sc. (Gen) with Computer Science from the University of Delhi. Before joining PDEU, she was an Assistant Professor at ITER, Sikhsa 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar from November 2020 to September 2022. She has also cleared the GATE exam with AIR - 38.

Brief Profile: Punit Jain is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Technology at PDEU. He completed his bachelor's degree in B.Sc (H) Mathematics from the University of Delhi in 2013. After that, he cleared the JAM exam with AIR 137 and went to IIT Kharagpur where he first completed his Master's degree in M.Sc Mathematics. He has completed Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur in Dec 2021. In terms of Research work, he has published 6 papers in high-quality peer-review international journals. He worked as a guest faculty in the Department of Mathematics at NIT Kurukshetra for a semester. He joined PDEU on 19th Sept 2022.

Brief Profile: Dr. Shreekant Varshney is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Technology (SoT) at PDEU (Formerly PDPU) since October 10, 2022. Prior joining to PDEU, he has worked for IFHE, Hyderabad. He has completed the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. Also, he has cleared CSIR JRF/NET twice with AIR 18 and 67, respectively. In the year 2017, he was appointed as a co-instructor by the Practice School Division, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus and mentored students at IIRS (ISRO), WIHG (DST), and CSIR-IIP in Dehradun. He has published more than 13 research articles in several journal of repute with high impact factor like RESS (Elsevier), QTQM (Taylor & Francis), JCAM (Elsevier), AJSE (Springer), etc. He has presented many research papers at national and international conferences of repute. Moreover, in October 2019, he has been awarded with second prize in a technical writing competition organized by SIAM journal publishing.

Brief Profile: Dr. Vishakha Jadaun earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Delhi, specializing in Lie Group of Transformations and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) in 2019. Her doctoral work focused on developing invariant solutions for nonlinear PDEs, detailed in her thesis titled "Invariant Solutions for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations using Lie Symmetry Analysis."
Prior to her PhD, she excelled academically, earning an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, where she graduated as a topper. Her educational journey also includes a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with a commendable academic record.
As a Senior Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, she significantly contributed to the IITD-AIIMS MIFIRP Project, “Applying statistical learning and modeling techniques to CT imaging for predicting the growth of Stanford Type B Aortic Dissection.”
Before joining as an Assistant Professor at PDEU on Jan 1st, 2024, her career encompassed various teaching roles, including Assistant Professor at Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, and visiting faculty at the University of Delhi, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women & Netaji Subhas University of Technology and University, New Delhi.
